JOB – Senior Project Manager

LOCATION – Liverpool (hybrid working is available)

TERM
- Permanent

SALARY - £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience)

My client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke products, primarily working within the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in the Liverpool area on a permanent basis.

The Senior Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

5 or more years of Project Management experience to Senior or near Senior level
Needs to have experience with Capex Projects
Ideally be experienced working with a small team to implement new Project Management processes
Experience delivering turnkey projects
Hold PRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualifications
An educational or hands-on background in Engineering
A background in the Medical sector would also be beneficial
Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge
Be able to read engineering drawings
Strong client-facing experience
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
Be flexible to travel as required

Responsibilities include:

Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and delivery
Organising projects, implementing a new Project Management process and motivating the existing team to work to new structures and procedures
Successfully delivering projects on time and on budget
Producing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans
Liaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progress
Working with design, purchasing and production departments
Presenting project plans and reports to management
Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues
Maintaining technical documentation as required
Mentoring junior members of the team
Occasional travel as required
