Site Engineer – Permanent - Highways

A leading main civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to support delivery on a long-term highways framework across the Liverpool area.

This is a permanent position offering stable, local work on well-structured highways schemes, with strong continuity and support from experienced site management.

The Role

Working closely with the Site Manager and General Foreman, you’ll be responsible for the engineering and technical delivery of highways projects valued between £5m – £50m, including:

* Setting out for highways and infrastructure works

* Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications

* Producing and checking as-built records

* Assisting with QA documentation and ITPs

* Supporting subcontractor management on site

* Coordinating with site teams to maintain programme

Project Scope

* Highways & infrastructure works

* Drainage (deep & shallow)

* Kerbing, surfacing & reinstatement

* Live carriageway environments

About You

* Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on highways projects

* Strong setting out background

* Experience across drainage, kerbing & surfacing

* Comfortable working within live traffic environments

Tickets / qualifications:

* CSCS

* SMSTS (or working towards) – desirable

* First Aid – desirable
