Senior Credit Risk Analyst (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Existing Customer Management team within Credit Risk. This is an exciting opportunity to influence customer outcomes and business performance in a fast‑paced environment.

What you’ll be doing
  • Optimise lending strategies and in‑life credit decisions using data‑driven insights.
  • Analyse customer behaviour and deliver actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Implement systemic changes to improve decision‑making and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and trusted third‑party partners to explore new opportunities.
About you
  • You are curious, analytical and logical with a keen eye for detail.
  • You have a degree and/or practical experience in a similar role.
  • You are highly proficient in SQL, SAS and advanced Microsoft Excel. Exposure to Power BI would be advantageous.
  • Experience of Credit Risk, particularly within credit lending, would be advantageous.
  • You are a team player who can quickly establish relationships with our existing team and key stakeholders.
  • You have softer skills – the ability to coach and develop other analysts, solve complex problems and relay solutions in a simple, clear and concise way.
  • You are customer‑outcome focused, commercially aware and can communicate across all levels of the business, influencing and providing challenge where necessary.
