CBRE is seeking a Loan Analyst whose primary responsibility will be supporting the Asset Managers and Loan Administrators in all aspects of servicing allocated commercial real estate loans.
What You’ll Do- Service assigned commercial real estate loans in the UK and continental Europe and monitor their performance.
- Provide customer service to lenders, borrowers and administration departments as per the financing documentation.
- Manage the set-up of new loans in the loan servicing system and be responsible for maintaining the currency and integrity of loan information.
- Manage loan document files and document imaging.
- Administer and bookkeep transactions.
- Set interest periods and reference rates applicable for each period.
- Calculate amounts to be paid by the borrowers and lenders in accordance with loan documentation (fees, interest, principal).
- Execute payment instructions on each payment date according to the waterfall provided.
- Liaise with the designated Borrower Account Bank to ensure all signing and account access arrangements (via electronic banking) are in place.
- Maintain KYC information for all bank account signatories.
- Provide assistance to Asset Managers in responding to borrower audit enquiries.
- Solid experience in UK and European real‑estate finance sector.
- Debt due diligence and transaction management expertise.
- Execution and documentation experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong client‑facing and communication skills (interacting with investors and borrowers).
- Presentation skills.
- Team player mentality.
