Overview:

A well-established organisation in St Helens is seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Manager to lead a large finance team and oversee core financial operations. This is a key leadership role offering a hybrid working model and excellent scope for impact and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a large finance team, providing direction, support, and development.
• Oversee the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Deliver insightful financial reporting to senior stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
• Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Drive improvements across finance systems and processes.

• Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a complex or fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in management accounts and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large teams.
• Minimum part-qualified ACCA or CIMA, with finalist status preferred.
• AAT qualification desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
