The Role You'll work closely with the Finance Director to ensure the numbers are watertight and provide real-time insights that drive smarter decision-making across the business. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone eager to take ownership and grow with the company. What You'll Do Produce weekly trading reports on sales, margins, labour costs, and cashflow. Support with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Perform reconciliations (bank, tills, POS) and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE/NIC, and HMRC requirements. Introduce process improvements for cash handling, stock control, and supplier payments. Provide simple, clear dashboards and insights for non-finance colleagues. Maintain and develop accounting systems (e.g. Xero/Quick Books). About You Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or strong experience in a similar finance role. Great Excel skills and confident with cloud accounting software.

Knowledge of VAT, payroll basics, and ideally multi-site retail/hospitality operations. Detail-driven, deadline-focused, and a clear communicator.
