We are looking for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Special Guardianship Support Team in Liverpool. This part-time locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £40.00 per hour and the flexibility of working 17.5 hours per week
. This ongoing position provides the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families through post-Special Guardianship Order (SGO) support.

Provide post-SGO support to families, focusing on the needs of special guardianship carers and children.

Conduct comprehensive Needs Assessments for families under your care.

Manage a caseload of children subject to SGOs
, ensuring appropriate care and support.

Collaborate with children’s social workers and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes.

Identify and support therapeutic needs for families, including applying for the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF).

Balance multiple assessments and caseload demands, exhibiting strong organizational and resilience skills.
