Overview

The successful applicant will be delivering the day-to-day workload as a member of a dedicated team, to include services such as:

  • Chemotherapy – cytotoxic reconstitution service
  • Parenteral Nutrition Service serving both hospital and home patients, including adult and neonatal products
  • Intravenous Additive Service offering an extensive range of products for Royal University Hospitals and external customers

We have a highly regarded Aseptic Production Unit (APU) at the Trust and moved into our brand-new unit in 2023. The role involves rotations through cytotoxic reconstitution, CIVAS and TPN. The post holder will contribute to running an efficient and effective manufacturing service by producing and distributing sterile parenteral medicines. The ideal candidate is motivated, enthusiastic and interested in aseptic production.

Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services or Science Manufacturing Technician or equivalent (or working towards these)
  • Member of the GPhC, Science Council or equivalent
  • Annex 21 training positions will be considered
