3-Shift Rotation
Holidays: 25 Days + 8 Bank Holidays
Call-Out: 1 in 5 weekends (paid £51 per call-out)

The Role

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical biasorto join a busy manufacturing environment. You will be expected to hit the ground running, supporting production by maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a wide range of machinery and systems.

You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and join an established maintenance team with a stable structure. Please note this is a hands-on role with no progression pathways, ideal for someone who enjoys staying technical and operational.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and repair of heater systems

Work on machine safety systems

Fault-finding on single and 3-phase motors

Maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Reactive and planned maintenance across Plastic injection moulding manufacturing machinery

Supporting production teams to minimise downtime

Occasional weekend call-out (1 in
5)

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing

Injection moulding experience highly advantageous

Ideally NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent

Strong mechanical background with multi-skilled capability

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Package

Salary: £44,000

Overtime:
Paid at 1.5x

Shift Allowance: 33% for night shifts

Call-Out Pay: £51 per call-out
