Programme Facilitator - Merseyside (North West) ()
We are a free and confidential service for adults (18+) in Liverpool who are experiencing difficulties with substances. We believe everyone has the ability to make positive changes. We work with individuals, families, carers, and professionals to offer support that’s right for you.
As a Programme Facilitator (volunteer), you will help people change the direction of their life, grow, and live fully. Your role includes listening to service users during assessments, understanding their needs, and guiding them to appropriate interventions within the service and wider community. You will provide knowledge, advice, and equipment to help them stay safe. Training and support will be provided.
Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and listen to service users to understand their needs.
- Advise on options available within and beyond the service.
- Offer appropriate knowledge, advice, and equipment to support safety.
- Attend training sessions and apply gained skills.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Subject to an enhanced Level DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
- Commitment to attend all training sessions.
- Interviews: last two weeks of February 2026.
- Training: starts third week of March; 1 day per week for 6 weeks.
