We’re opening a studio in Madrid – if you have the skills listed below, we’d love to hear from you.

What you will do
  • Play and test games, identifying linguistic bugs and reporting them in a bug database.
  • Check in‑game text for accuracy, cultural appropriateness and consistency.
  • Follow the Universally Speaking LQA process and professional standards to produce clear, detail‑rich bug reports.
  • Own test cases, manage test documentation, and ensure bugs are fixed correctly.
  • Work closely with developers and the QA team to gather testing requirements and support all features of the project.
  • Seek continuous improvement, suggest efficiencies, and take ownership of additional tasks.
Measures of Performance
  • Quality, velocity, and precision of bug reports.
  • On‑time delivery.
  • Teamwork and communication.
  • Continuous improvement of LQA workflow and techniques.
Qualifications
  • Native in Finnish.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Passion for video games.
  • Team player with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Pro‑active, tenacious, and enthusiastic.
  • Strong focus on quality and keen eye for detail.
  • Computer skills – MS Word, databases, record keeping.
  • Right to work in the UK (positions not eligible for sponsorship).
Additional desirable skills (training provided)
  • Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
  • Familiarity with LQA testing tools, test case management, and text editing tools.
  • Knowledge of CAT tools such as MemoQ.
  • Knowledge of the video‑game industry and trends.
  • Desirable but not essential:
    Bachelor’s degree in linguistics.

We are a London‑based team; this role is onsite. The position is full‑time, Monday to Friday, starting at 9:00 am.
