Field Service Engineer

** What you’ll be doing
*** Install, commission, and service Proseal machinery at customer sites across the region
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively
* Provide customer training on the operation and maintenance of equipment
* Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability
* Deliver technical support both on-site and remotely when required
* Identify opportunities for spare parts sales, service contracts, and upgrades
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Proseal and statutory standards### ###
** About You
** You are an electrically biased engineer who thrives in the field, solving problems, and supporting customers under pressure. You bring strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach, ensuring equipment is running efficiently and clients are satisfied.
** You’ll bring:
*** A recognised apprenticeship or qualification in electrical or mechatronic engineering (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
* Experience working with automated machinery, ideally within the food industry
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with electrical systems (mechanical knowledge an advantage)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction
* Computer literacy and confidence with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF management)
* Valid UK driving licence and current passport (international travel may be required)
