Position: Radiographer / Senior Radiographer - Mammography

Position Overview

You will be expectedproduto to either hold or study towards the postgraduate MSc. module in Mammography. The post will involve travelling to and working on mobile units with some requirement for overnight stays. Newly and recently qualified Radiographers will be required to work at least 12 months before commencing the post graduate module and, after successfully completing it, will be upgraded to Band 6.

The role also centre on rostered weekend working as necessary to meet the needs of the service.

Advanced Practice Pathway

As an organisation, we positively support advanced practice, with established routes for Radiographers to become Advanced Practitioners/Consultant Radiographers according to service need.

We are actively seeking enthusiastic Radiographers to join our team. Applications are welcome from either experienced or newly qualified Radiographers who are interested in a career in breast screening. Experienced Radiographers will be appointed on current scale with newly and recently qualified Radiographers starting on Band 5.ажа The North Wales region has 2 static screening centres with screening and assessment clinic facilities.

We also operate 3 Mobile Screening Units which provide local screening services across North Wales.

About Us

Breast Test Wales plans, provides, manages and evaluates the NHS Breast Screening Programme in Wales. The North Wales Region based at Llandudno and Wrexham employs approximately 29 mammographic staff, comprising of Clinical Specialist Radiographers, Advanced Practitioners, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners and Clinical Imaging Support Workers.
