Position: Registered Nurse (Tumble)

Location:Ty Cwm Gwendraeth, Llannon Road, Upper Tumble, Llanelli SA14 6BU

Shifts:Monday to Sunday on a rota basis. Full time and part time available 12.5hr shifts

Pay Rate:£18.36 - £21.50 per hour

, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the people we support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing Care Needs:Evaluate each resident's physical, psychological, and social needs and create individualized care plans, ensuring the involvement of the resident, their family, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Providing High-Quality Care:Deliver day-to-day care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being, helping residents to live their best lives.
  • Leading a Multidisciplinary Team:Supervise and support the care team, guiding and mentoring staff. You will lead shifts, organize and coordinate staff duties, and assist with staff training and development.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:Continually assess care needs and evaluate the care provided. Ensure care plans and records are up-to-date and accurate, striving for the highest standards in everything you do.
  • Promoting Independence and Well-being:Work with residents to support rehabilitation, stimulation, and social integration, with the goal of maintaining or improving independence and enhancing the quality of life.
  • Ensuring a Safe Environment:Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for both residents and staff, adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Supporting Staff Development:Orient new staff, provide regular supervision, and support career progression through training and personal development opportunities.
