Summary
Are you enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate about helping others? We’re looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our friendly team in Llanelli, supporting three amazing adults with learning disabilities to live independently and thrive in their community. We have a 16 hour per week, permanent position available.
- Requires full flexibility to work various shift patterns including days, evenings, sleep‑in, weekends and bank holidays.
- Sleep‑in shifts are paid at a set rate for an 8 hour shift between 11:00 pm and 07:00 am in addition to your contracted hours.

The Role
This service in Dafen, Llanelli is the home of 3 social and creative individuals with learning disabilities. They have their individual passions and personalities and love to be out in the community and meet new people. As a Support Worker you will actively support and assist with daily living skills and activities of choice to enable each individual to be as independent in these areas as possible.
KeyDuties Will Involve
- Providing person‑centered support for daily needs, including personal care (showering, bathing, brushing teeth, continence care, etc.).
- Supporting dietary needs and food preparation.
- Offering emotional support.
- Completing cleaning and administrative tasks.
- Administering and managing medication.
- Monitoring individual medication stocks and finances.
- Bringing innovative ideas to improve team practices.
A background of working with people with physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided.

Pay and Pensions- £24,531 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
- Sleep‑in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift - approx. 1 per week.
- Waking night rate: 20% enhancement from 11 pm to 7 am
- Enhanced DBS which we will pay for
- Social Care Wales registration is fully reimbursed
