The Role
As Production Team Leader, you will support the smooth and efficient operation of a production line, managing 8–12 operatives on shift. While this is not a heavily people-management focused role, you’ll be confident stepping in where needed, managing processes, and keeping production on track.
You’ll report directly into the Shift Manager and play a key role in ensuring standards are met across Safety, Quality, Hygiene, Cost and Output.
A structured 6-week training programme is already in place, giving you the tools to succeed and helping teams perform at their best.

Team Leadership & Communication

Build positive working relationships across production, engineering and management
Promote teamwork, flexibility and a strong sense of ownership within the team
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, environmental and health & safety compliance
Ensure products meet specification and quality standards at all times
Continuous Improvement & Projects
Support site and departmental improvement initiatives
Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, quality and team performance
About You
Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong understanding of production processes and line efficiency
Comfortable managing small teams and stepping in hands-on when required
Clear communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Committed to quality, safety and continuous improvement
What’s On Offer
£35,100 salary (£15 per hour)
Paid overtime (often 30 minutes early starts, paid at 1.25x)

Pension contribution (3%)
Stable, permanent role within a growing business
Future progression opportunities due to ongoing site development
