Delighted to be partnered with a leading manufacturer and supporting them with this newly created Head of Finance role will take full ownership of UK financial reporting, consolidation and cash flow, while acting as a senior business partner to operational leadership. As the Head of Finance you will raise standards, improve processes and increase financial clarity across the business.
You will lead consolidated reporting, audits and treasury activity, while spending a significant proportion of your time driving process improvement, standardisation and automation across UK finance. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical capability, commercial awareness and the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.

Financial Control & Reporting
Own UK month-end, quarter-end, forecast and budget consolidation.
Deliver accurate, timely consolidated financials with clear commercial insight.
Produce and maintain weekly consolidated cash flow aligned to monthly reporting.
Manage funding requirements, including loan drawdowns and repayments.
Ensure appropriate treatment of FX and balance sheet exposures.
Audit, Risk & Governance
Lead interim and year-end audits and manage external auditors.
Partner with internal audit to strengthen controls and define best-in-class processes.
Identify financial risk and cost reduction opportunities, driving actions through to delivery.
Process Improvement & Systems
Review, standardise and improve finance processes across all UK sites.
Drive automation and efficiency, reducing manual intervention and rework.
Maximise the use of ERP systems to improve reporting quality and data integrity.
Lead change pragmatically, ensuring improvements are embedded and sustained.
Business Partnering
Act as a trusted finance partner to divisional and operational leadership.
Support the development of action plans and improve financial understanding across the business.
Partner with commercial teams to build robust, decision-ready bid models.
Track financial benefits of continuous improvement initiatives and ensure delivery.
Leadership
Develop and support the UK finance team, building capability and engagement.
Maintain regular site presence and strong relationships with UK stakeholders.
Deputise for the European Finance Director when required.
Head of Finance
Experience & Capability
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
Exposure working with a multi-site business
Strong background in consolidation, group reporting and cash flow management.
Experience across treasury, cost accounting and FX exposure.
Proven track record of improving finance processes in complex, multi-site environments.
Strong ERP experience; exposure to SAP S/4
HANA advantageous.
Commercially astute, decisive and comfortable operating erience of leading/ developing a team and working with various internal stake holders
