Join NHS Highland as a Medical Secretary in the Mental Health Services at Lochgilphead
. The role is part of a team that supports Consultant Psychiatrists and other medical staff with outreach clinics.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial, administrative and patient coordination services. Coverage of other secretaries during annual or sick leave is expected. The position runs for 21 hours across four days.

• Provide briefings for patients and self-referrals to keep clinic Patient Access System up to date.
• Organise clinic documentation, patient records and reports.
• Assist medical staff with administrative tasks during outreach clinics.
• Offer flexible cover for other secretaries when required.

• Significant secretarial experience with high office practice skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  , e‑mail, intranet, Trak Care PMS, Sci Store, etc.
• Typing speed of at least 60 wpm.
• Knowledge of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003 is an advantage.
• Self‑motivated with excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
