Shift Patterns- 12 days on, 2 days off (work 12 days, weekend off and continue)
- 6 days on, 1 day off
- Part‑time over 4 days – Shift patterns of Sat–Tue or Thurs–Sun
- High‑speed operative positions (night shifts) require a 12AB Lantra qualification.
- Job security with guaranteed hours and overtime opportunities.
- Night shifts paid at 1.25×, weekends paid at 1.5×.
- Company van after T1/T2 qualification.

Role OverviewAs a Traffic Management Operative, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow on highways and construction sites. Your responsibilities include:
- Setting up and maintaining traffic management systems.
- Safely directing traffic during roadworks, events and emergencies.
- Collaborating with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Upholding our people‑first culture and contributing to our cultural change program.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Flexibility to work the above shift patterns.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and held for more than 10 months.
- Within 40 minutes driving distance from the depot.
- Valid traffic management qualifications (e.g., Lantra 12AB, 12D M1/M2, or Unit 2 – desirable but not essential).
