- Directly responsible to a classroom teacher and the program supervisor.
Provide individual/small group instruction as planned by the teacher.
- Assist in teaching a diverse population of children in an atmosphere of kindness that encourages active inquiry, fosters individual growth and promotes respect for self and others.
- Participate in pre-service and regular In-service training.
- Provide individual/small group instruction as planned by the teacher.
- Must be energetic, able to multi-task, have patience,and positive disposition.
- Enjoy working with high school students and be able to assist students with all grade level academic lessons and assignments.
- Experience with persons with special needs is a plus but not required
- 60 college credit hours or Paraprofessional Certificate.
- Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear a drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law.
