Build masonry structures onsite using bricklaying, blueprint reading, and power tools. This role requires physical capability and accurate material estimation.
This Bricklayer position supports construction, repair, and renovation projects in commercial and residential settings. You will lay brick, stone, and similar materials for veneer facing, chimneys, and fireplaces. The work includes reading sketches, calculating materials, and operating didates need three to less than five years of experience, secondary school graduation, and English language ability.
Key Responsibilities:- Estimate materials, tools, and equipment for projects
- Read sketches and blueprints to calculate required materials
- Lay brick, stone, and similar veneer materials
- Build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces
- Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks
- Three to less than five years of experience
- Secondary school graduation certificate
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
- Ability to work at heights and on scaffolding
- Physical ability to handle heavy loads
