TEP Canada is seeking a full-time employee as a Tower Inspector, based in our Waterloo, ON office. • Must have a labor intensive attitude and be capable regularly working at heights by climbing towers, water tanks or rooftops with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Typical heights of towers are 150’ – 500’ above ground.
• Perform audits, mappings and post construction inspections on telecommunications towers.
• Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
• Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OHS, CSA S37-18, etc.)

• Prepare inspection reports by using data gathered while in the field.
• Prepare basic drawings of field sketches using AutoCAD.
• Complete necessary tasks for multiple projects prior to field work such as Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), coordinating crane rentals, booking travel arrangements.

• College diploma or previous experience working in telecom.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Experience with rock climbing, working at heights, tree trekking or climbing utility poles.
• Be physically fit to climb towers.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
• Canadian resident with necessary permit or citizenship to work in Canada.
