Intermediate Technology Specialist, Database Administration

Responsibilities- Design and manage database systems and platforms in collaboration with LOB IT teams.
- Perform database performance tuning, debugging, profiling, analytics, and automation.
- Develop data / schema design practices and overall database architectures.
- Maintain cloud database systems and platforms (SQLMI, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
- Collaborate with Business and IT roles on solution design, development and quality management of shared infrastructure systems and applications.
- Improve client satisfaction by addressing issues, performing on‑going maintenance, and implementing solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot components, including maintenance, upgrading or of hardware and/or application software.
- Uphold quality standards by maintaining internal processes and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and enhanced efficiencies.
- Monitor capacity usage and performance of assigned technologies to assure operational availability and process integrity.
- Provide technical guidance to peers and end‑users regarding technologies that enable continuous delivery of shared solutions.
- 3+ years of experience in IT.
- Contemporary database platform certifications.
- Experience designing and maintaining enterprise relational and non‑relational database platforms (MS SQL Server, SQL MI, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
- Strong client focus with the ability to resolve inquiries efficiently and empathetically.
- Problem‑solving skills to research and address complex issues.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with policies and best practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate and provide constructive feedback.
