Senior Consultant - SAP FICO/RTR at EY

Apply for the Senior Consultant - SAP FICO/RTR role s is a full‑time position within EY Consulting Services Canada’s SAP Practice Consulting team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, you will assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership, and accelerators that differentiate EY in the ERP advisory market. These solutions are shared with all EY market‑facing organizations to provide consistency and common platforms for the go‑to‑market approach. You will also be willing to travel to meet client needs, with travel estimated at 20‑30%.

You consistently deliver quality client services, driving high‑quality work products within expected time frames and on budget. You monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. You stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client’s business. You should be a self‑starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable interfacing with a client on a daily basis.

This role requires daily interaction with the client at many levels.

Qualifications
  • A degree in computer science, accounting, finance or a related field. SAP certification(s) preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 4+ years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 2‑3 years of related work experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience working with the SAP Finance module, including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Entity Close.
  • Ability to configure SAP finance and controlling processes and deliver work products/packages conforming to the client’s standards & requirements.
  • Participation in at least one full life‑cycle implementation (or equivalent experience) required. Familiarity with integration between SAP modules such as MM, PM, IBP, QM, SD, LE, TM, FI, CO a plus.
  • Experience executing a business blueprint and documenting business requirements that can be understood by a technical process team.
  • Development of project documentation, training materials, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required.
  • Field experience supporting clients in a live SAP system is highly preferred.

British Columbia Salary Clause:
The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $72,000 to $132,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
