Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

Accountant - OUR CLIENT are a well-established commercial and residential property company with a substantial property portfolio located in London. They are now looking for an Accountant to work within their corporate accounting team reporting to a Senior Financial Controller. This role will be based in the office 5 days a week.

THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS for the Accountant will include:

Preparing year-end accounts files to Trial Balance level.
Preparing profit and loss account and balance sheet.
Bookkeeping and quarterly preparing VAT Returns.
Preparing bank reconciliations.
Assisting in treasury function. Maintaining cash balances and executing transfers and payments.
Preparing and assisting in preparation of management accounts / cash flows and reports to banks.

THE PERSON and SKILL REQUIREMENTS for the Accountant:

Part Qualified Accountant (AAT qualification also considered) or Qualified by Experience.
Minimum 3/4 years' experience, preferably working in practice.

Experience of preparing year-end accounts (Profit & Loss/Management Accounts)
Working knowledge of VAT.
Happy to work in the office 5 days week.
