About the Firm:
This firm combines the feel of a boutique practice with an impressive client base. With clients across software, charity, construction, entertainment, music and service charge sectors, they offer exposure to a diverse range of industries. Most clients are local, meaning minimal travel, with the furthest based in North London. The Senior Accountant Role:
As Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of a wide variety of client work, ranging from accounts preparation to VAT and audit review. With around 80% of clients providing trial balances, you'll need to be confident preparing accounts directly from these, as well as liaising with clients and supporting juniors in the team. You'll be responsible for:
Preparing and reviewing accounts (FRS 102 and FRS 102 1A) from TB Preparing corporate tax returns and personal tax returns Reviewing VAT returns Liaising directly with clients across varied sectors Supporting and reviewing the work of juniors as needed Assisting with audits (not essential) Software & Clients:

MyWorkpapers (Mercia) Client turnovers range from £2M to £20M Diverse sectors - software, charity, construction, entertainment, music, and service charge The Ideal Senior Accountant Candidate: ACA/ACCA finalist or qualified Strong ability to review and prepare accounts from TB Audit experience is a bonus, but not required Comfortable liaising with clients directly Practice background (SME or boutique firm) preferred Culture & Perks:
