Position: Receptionist (Permanent)
We are a recruitment partner working on behalf of a well-established Tier 2 Main Contractor who is seeking a professional and highly organised Receptionist to join their London office.

This is a key front-of-house role, responsible for creating a welcoming environment for visitors while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy corporate office.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the switchboard, screening and directing calls as required

* Meet and greet all visitors in a professional and welcoming manner

* Schedule meetings and coordinate meeting room bookings

* Host and cater meetings, including refreshments and lunch arrangements

* Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries

* Order and maintain office supplies including stationery, cleaning and kitchen items

* Ensure reception, meeting rooms, print area and storage rooms are tidy and well maintained

* Arrange taxis and couriers

* Manage office petty cash

* Provide general administrative support including printing, photocopying and binding

* Act as point of contact for facilities contractors (cleaning, fire safety, waste disposal) and support contract management

* Liaise with clients’ PAs/EAs on behalf of senior management to arrange meetings, dinners and events

* Provide limited secretarial support

* Welcome new staff and assist with desk set-up

* Assist with booking travel and accommodation

* Carry out ad hoc duties as required

Skills & Experience Required

* Previous experience in a receptionist and/or administrative role

* Professional, friendly and confident manner with strong customer service skills

* Excellent telephone etiquette

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

* Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach

* IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Must have the right to work in the UK
