Are you a commercially astute Off-Trade Sales Director, with experience in the drink industry, ready to take ownership and drive significant growth for a premium drinks brand within the dynamic UK drinks / FMCG sector?
This is a unique opportunity to apply your strategic vision and analytical prowess to shape the future of a rapidly scaling drinks business. If you thrive on turning data into distribution and forecasts into compelling results across UK supermarkets and premium retail, then we want to hear from you.
This is a permanent role based in London.
What you will get in your new role
* A competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £100,000 GBP, reflecting your drinks sector expertise and impact.
* The opportunity to own and drive UK off-trade growth, making a tangible difference to the business trajectory.
* A hands-on, high-performance role where your autonomy and ability to genuinely deliver are highly valued.
* Direct responsibility for sales forecasting, depletion tracking, and comprehensive performance analysis.
* The chance to support future European off-trade expansion and contribute to US market forecasting alongside the CEO as the business scales.
* A role with a strong analytical backbone, perfect for someone who excels at transforming data into actionable insights and strategic wins.
* The opportunity to play a meaningful role in scaling a fast-growing, premium brand within the retail industry.
Responsibilities in your new role as UK Off-Trade Sales Director (Drinks / FMCG)
As the UK Off-Trade Sales Director, you will be instrumental in:
* Providing commercial and sales leadership, driving significant growth across UK grocery, supermarket, and premium retail accounts.
* Leading new business development, securing crucial distribution wins, and supporting European off-trade expansion as the business grows.
* Expertly managing supermarket promotions, ranging, pricing, and category initiatives, applying a deep understanding of rate of sale, margin, and broader retail dynamics.
* Owning UK off-trade sales forecasting, working closely with the CEO on planning, and meticulously analysing performance by account and SKU.
* Maintaining and managing accurate depletion data, building robust Excel models, and translating complex data into compelling insights and actionable recommendations.
* Collaborating closely with leadership, executing the broader commercial strategy with a growth mindset, high accountability, and a strong work ethic.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for a senior off-trade sales leader with proven drinks-industry experience.
You will bring:
* A commercially sharp UK off-trade sales specialist with proven experience in the drinks or FMCG sector.
* Strong exposure to UK supermarkets, grocery, and premium retail channels.
* Deep expertise in promotions, category management, and retail negotiations.
* Exceptional numerical ability and confidence in working extensively with data.
* Advanced Excel skills, with a genuine enjoyment for spreadsheets and detailed analysis.
* Commercially astute, highly organised, and analytically minded.
* Fast-paced, proactive, and execution-focused, comfortable working autonomously yet collaborating closely with leadership.
* Smart, commercially curious, detail-oriented, and a confident communicator able to clearly explain data-driven insights.
Highly Desirable (but not essential):
* European off-trade experience.
* A background in supporting international forecasting and depletion analytics.
* Existing retailer relationships and a strong industry network.
Why This Role is For You:
* Motivated by building a fast-growing, premium brand.
* An opportunity to combine commercial sharpness, analytical firepower, and real-world retail execution.
