As a Purchasing-focused Customer Support Specialist you’ll play a critical role in maintaining stock levels, placing purchase orders, and resolving supply-side challenges efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Raising and managing supplier purchase orders within an ERP system
* Monitoring stock levels and ordering in line with demand and stock policies
* Handling supplier queries around pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery delays
* Liaising with third-party warehouses and hauliers to resolve issues such as damages or shortages
* Logging and resolving purchase-related complaints to support continuous improvement
* Maintaining accurate ERP records and communicating updates to internal teams
* Working closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Logistics colleagues
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in purchasing, supply chain, inventory control, or operations support
* Strong ERP system experience (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Netsuite or similar)
* Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and stock data
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective supplier relationships
* Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
* A proactive team player who enjoys problem-solving and process improvement
