Senior Building Surveyor

A multidisciplinary and well-established consultancy is now seeking a driven and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor looking to take on a strong and varied workload, with a Senior Building Surveyor benefiting from a secure and well-established pipeline of work.

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will be involved in high-end residential and commercial instructions, making this role ideal for a Senior Building Surveyor who enjoys project-led work.

The Senior Building Surveyor Role

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will deliver the full range of building surveying services, with a particular focus on project management and contract administration duties.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base across both the public and private sectors, covering education, housing, and retail properties, while playing a key role within the wider surveying team.

Duties of the Senior Building Surveyor to include:

* Delivering a full suite of building surveying services

* Leading on project management and contract administration duties

* Working with public and private sector clients across varied asset types

* Managing projects from inception through to completion

* Supporting and mentoring Graduate and Assistant level surveyors

* Contributing to the development and performance of the wider team

The Person ?

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will have strong experience within a similar consultancy environment and will be comfortable operating at a senior level. The Senior Building Surveyor will fit the following description…..

* Commercially minded with an interest in developing client relationships

* Strong report writing and verbal communication skills

* Confident in managing multiple instructions simultaneously

* Enjoys supporting and developing junior team members

* £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
