The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for major multi-million-pound developments from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with project, design, and construction teams, your responsibilities will include:

* Leading cost planning, budgeting, and cashflow management

* Managing procurement strategies and leading negotiations with contractors and suppliers

* Evaluating tenders and overseeing contract formation and administration

* Providing robust cost control, valuations, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle

* Identifying and managing commercial risk and value engineering opportunities

* Managing and mentoring junior commercial team members

* Ensuring full compliance with contractual, statutory, and company requirements

* Acting as a key commercial advisor to senior stakeholders and project teams

Candidate Profile

* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

* MRICS qualified (or nearing completion with strong experience)

* Proven experience delivering residential or mixed-use developments (London experience preferred)

* Strong commercial acumen with a confident, proactive approach

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

* Experience leading packages or projects independently

* Ambitious, collaborative, and motivated to progress within a leading developer
