Construction Manager - EU - Pharma

* A leading international engineering and construction contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join a major pharmaceutical manufacturing project in mainland Europe. This is a high-profile, fast-paced project within a regulated, GMP-driven environment.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for on-site construction delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage all on-site construction activities across multiple disciplines

* Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and client representatives

* Drive health & safety performance and ensure strict adherence to site procedures

* Oversee construction planning, sequencing, and progress reporting

* Ensure compliance with GMP, quality, and project specifications

* Support commissioning, handover, and close-out activities

* Proactively identify and mitigate construction risks and issues

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Construction Manager on large-scale industrial projects

* Strong background in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or high-tech manufacturing environments

* Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, and quality systems

* Experience working in regulated/GMP environments is essential

* Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills

* Willingness to work on-site in Belgium (EU work eligibility required)
