Recognised as a forward-thinking and progressive main contractor, our client has a fantastic reputation for delivering complex projects. They are keen to appoint an experienced Construction Director to join their team, based in North West London.

The Construction Director will proactively lead a relatively new unit specialising in the publicly funded sector. The role will involve managing client relationships throughout the full lifecycle, including securing positions on frameworks, winning tender opportunities, achieving contract awards, and ensuring successful project delivery, as well as retaining clients by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.

This is an opportunity for a Construction Director with a broad range of experience within the publicly funded sector and the ambition to establish a genuine construction division focused on delivering a high-quality finished product, on time and within budget. The successful Construction Director will be able to contribute effectively to work winning, alongside possessing the commercial and strategic acumen required to manage performance and drive success.

The Construction Director will be capable of managing teams across both pre- and post-construction stages. Strong financial awareness is essential to achieve financial targets and effectively manage risk and opportunity. The individual should be confident in their ability to lead, influence, and communicate with stakeholders to deliver objectives.

The successful candidate will have a background in the publicly funded construction arena, with a thorough understanding of how the sector operates and what is required to run a successful construction business within it.
