Senior Building Surveyor

Our client, a prominent organisation in the buildings sector, is currently seeking a Senior Building Surveyor - Class 2A-F to join their team. This is a contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting detailed building inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Providing expert advice on Building Control matters across a variety of projects
Ensuring timely and accurate issuance of building permits and certifications
Reviewing and approving building plans and documentation
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to address building control issues
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, standards, and best practices
Preparing comprehensive reports and documentation related to building surveys

Job Requirements:

Experience in building control or a related field
Proficiency in conducting building inspections and interpreting building plans
Strong knowledge of current building regulations and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results within deadlines
Relevant qualification in building surveying, building control, or a related discipline
