WHYJOIN THE TEAM?
The TV social Original Production team creates youth‑skewing original videos for the BBC’s biggest social media brands including @BBC, @BBCiPlayer and aim is to extend the world of the BBC’s biggest shows from Drag Race UK to The Traitors, working with the BBC’s biggest talent from Claudia Winkleman to Dannii Minogue and with the most up‑and‑coming content creators and influencers from Max Balegde to Charley Marlowe – all to bring in new audiences to BBC iPlayer.
This is our entry‑level position into production management; you will work as a Production Management Assistant, supporting our Production Managers and Production Coordinators in creating quality content for all of our output, which may include TV, audio, online, events and digital platforms.
YOURKEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
As a Junior Production Coordinator apprentice with TV Socials Production
, this is a brilliant opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute – you may demonstrate the following:
- Help organise travel, accommodation, and crew bookings for shoots
- Write call sheets and assist with scheduling and budget tracking
- Support filming on location and in the studio, working closely with talent and crew
- Learn about post‑production processes and help with submitting expenses
- Contribute to daily planning for the live show, adapting to changing content
On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be able to apply for job roles such as a Production Management Assistant, Production Secretary or Production Coordinator, depending on experience both inside and outside of the BBC.
