The key role of the Social Media Team Connector [known as the External Coordinator within XR] is to ensure the team is represented in wider movement, and aware of those other teams' work and priorities.
What difference will you make?
The XRUK Social Media Team play an essential part in external messaging for our movement.
By taking on this role you'll make an impact on XR’s messaging on the climate and nature crises to the general public and decision-makers by ensuring our messaging is communicated accurately, loudly and persuasively through and with the media.
What are we looking for?
You will need a minimum of 3 years experience in Media & Messaging or a communications role.

What will you be doing?
The role can be shared between two people, reducing the time commitment necessary.
- Representing the work of the team within meetings of XRUK Media & Messaging [M&M].
- Taking issues that can’t be resolved in the team to the XRUK M&M team.
- Exchanging information with other teams.
