Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with designers and studio teams to develop garments from concept to production, ensuring specifications are met.
  • Create and maintain tech packs, including garment construction, fabric choices, trims, and sizing.
  • Lead fit sessions, providing feedback on fit, quality, and construction, while aligning with brand standards.
  • Ensure product quality by working with manufacturers, conducting sample reviews, and garment inspections.
  • Liaise with suppliers, both locally and internationally, to manage relationships, negotiate costs, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Problem solve any production issues, including fabric or construction concerns, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and international garment standards for fabric, safety, and labeling.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience:

At least 3 years as a garment technologist in the fashion industry, with experience working with suppliers, retailers, or fashion brands.
  • Strong technical skills in garment construction, fabrics, and grading, with the ability to translate design sketches into production‑ready garments.

  • Great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, buyers, and manufacturers.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
