Principal Designer​/CDM Consultant

Lev Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Principal Designer / CDM Consultant for an established, leading international construction consultancy in London.

Salary: £65,000–£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will provide specialist CDM and Principal Designer services across a range of construction projects, advising clients and project teams on their duties under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

Responsibilities include identifying and managing design-related health and safety risks, coordinating with designers and contractors, reviewing design information, and supporting clients throughout the project lifecycle.

• Previous experience working as a Principal Designer, CDM Consultant or CDM Advisor within the construction industry.
• Strong working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and associated health and safety legislation.
• Experience advising clients, designers and project teams on CDM compliance and design risk management.
• Relevant construction, design or health and safety qualifications.
• Excellent communication, client-facing and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  
  Professional membership such as APS, IOSH or an equivalent relevant institution would be advantageous.
