Interior Architect

We are now looking for a talented and ambitious Part I/II Interior Architect to join our Marylebone-based team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have completed their BA Interior Design and/or completed RIBA Part I at least, have a minimum of 1 years’ UK practice experience, and be proficient in BIM. You will bring architectural and technical expertise to high-end residential projects for private clients and developers. We are looking for a proactive candidate, detail-orientated and keen to develop their career within a high-end Interior Design studio.

This is a varied and hands-on role for a technically strong, proactive individual who can take ownership of the interior architectural side of our projects. You will work closely with the Head of Interior Architecture, Directors and Designers, leading the technical design and coordination of projects from concept through to completion on site.

You must be proficient in BIM, ideally Revit or Vectorworks with a strong understanding of model coordination and information management. Experience in InDesign and Photoshop are a plus. A good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction of interior detailing is essential.

This role also involves coordinating with consultants and contractors’ submissions, attending site and supporting Head of Interior Architecture. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage several projects at once are essential.

• Collaborating closely with the Head of Interior Architecture, Directors and the wider design team.
• Supporting the BIM model of projects.
• Producing drawing packages from concept through to construction, including technical, joinery and detail drawings.
• Coordinating with structural, M&E and specialist consultants.
• Developing specifications, finishes schedules, sanitaryware schedules and FF&E schedules from the model.
• Prepare design proposals for clients and attend design team meetings.
• Attending site visits, inspections and snagging, and responding to contractor queries.
• Produce site reports.
• Reviewing and approving shop drawings, material samples, and submittals.

• A BA in Interior Design or a recognised architecture qualification at RIBA/ARB Part 1 level (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Revit and/or Vectorworks.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop.
• Basic knowledge of UK Building Regulations, the planning process and construction detailing.
• Experience of high-end residential or interior fit-out projects is a plus.
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help across all areas
• Full UK driving licence.

Salary starting at £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
