Position: Facade Engineer (Permanent)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled façade engineer to join a forward-thinking team working on innovative building envelope projects across London. This role is ideal for a façade engineer who is passionate about delivering high-performance, aesthetically driven façade solutions for a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

As a façade engineer, develop detailed façade designs, technical drawings, and specifications across multiple project stages

Perform structural analysis, thermal assessments, and material evaluations to ensure optimal façade performance

Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate façade systems

Conduct site inspections, review installation quality, and support resolution of façade-related technical issues

Ensure all work complies with relevant British Standards, Building Regulations, and client performance criteria

Prepare detailed design reports, calculations, and technical documentation

Skills & Experience

Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline

Proven experience working as a façade engineer across a range of façade systems, including curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing, and bespoke assemblies

Strong understanding of façade performance requirements, material behaviour, and façade detailing

Proficiency with relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, and structural/thermal analysis tools

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to project deadlines
