Founded in 1981, this long-standing engineering consultancy supports projects of every scale by offering practical, dependable design expertise shaped by decades of industry experience. Known for clear communication and problem-solving, the team works closely with architects, developers, contractors, and local authorities to deliver solutions that stand up to both regulatory scrutiny and real-world construction demands.

In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, producing drainage, highway, and infrastructure designs to current standards.

You'll work with Micro Drainage, KeyTERRA-FIRMA, and AutoCAD, applying knowledge of SUDS, DMRB, road design, and highway section agreements. You'll review site data, guide project teams, liaise with authorities, and ensure compliant, buildable solutions. Based in Gloucester, Monday-Friday, 38 hours per week. This role would suit a Civil Engineer looking to take the lead on drainage, highways, and infrastructure design within a long-established consultancy, with opportunities to progress into higher responsibility and senior leadership.

The Role:

Leading the design of drainage, highways, and infrastructure projects Producing models, drawings, and reports using Micro Drainage, KeyTERRA-FIRMA, and AutoCAD Reviewing site data, surveys, and technical information Applying SUDS, DMRB standards, and highway section agreement requirements Liaising with local authorities and project teams for approvals Working Monday-Friday, 38 hours per week, based in Gloucester

The Person :
Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) Experience in drainage, highways, and infrastructure design Ability to work within a team 4 Commutable to Gloucester Reference: BBBH
