At Baker Hicks, we’re delivering next‑generation infrastructure across some of the UK’s most advanced sectors and right now, we’re looking for a Civil Engineer who lives and breathes drainage design.

If you’re confident in Micro Drainage/Info Drainage, know your way around Civils 3D, and want to take ownership of real, buildable design solutions, this is your moment.

• Design foul and surface water drainage systems, earthworks, roads and pavement layouts
• Own your work on multi‑disciplinary design projects — from concept to construction
• Lead packages of work and guide junior staff as you progress
• Ensure compliance with UK standards (CIRIA 753, Sewers for Scotland, Eurocodes, etc.)
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, and structures teams to ensure delivery is right‑first‑time

• Strong skills in Micro Drainage or Info Drainage
• Use of Civils 3D and AutoCAD 2D/3D
• Understanding of S278, S104 and infrastructure agreements
• A degree in Civil Engineering and working towards CEng MICE
• The ability to balance technical detail with project‑wide thinking
• Eligible for security clearance
