You will be preparing design packs and scope of works documents for issue to EPC partners or sub-contractors, gather and review information ahead of detailed designs, produce feasibility design packs including layout drawings, mounting method details, Bill of Materials and yield assessments. This company have been established for almost 10 years and are rapidly scaling. They provide lightweight, flexible solar energy solutions for commercial buildings, homes and modular structures to help decarbonise the built environment.

Their products include solar solutions for large roofs, off-grid solar and battery systems. They have worked on prestigious projects for elite sports teams, major airports and big names like BP, Tesco and Balfour Beatty. This role would suit a Design / Project Engineer with experience working in the renewables industry, particularly Solar, looking to join an exciting and growing company where you'll get to work on interesting projects for well renowned companies.

The Role:

Gather and review information ahead of detailed design Attend site visits to collect additional data to inform design Produce feasibility design packs including layout drawings, mounting method details, BOM's and yield assessments Review proposals submitted by EPC partners and sub-contractors Work cross functionally with other departments Provide reactive technical support during installation the installation when issues arise Visit sites where required to review progress and installation quality

The Person :
