This internationally recognised organisation is known for its premium guest experience and strong brand standards. They are now looking for a Director of Engineering to lead engineering operations at one of their flagship Central London properties. In this role, you will be responsible for building systems, plant operations, life safety compliance, preventive maintenance schedules, and capital projects. You will lead a dedicated engineering team, manage budgets and energy efficiency, and work closely with senior leaders to maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and guest satisfaction.

This role would suit an experienced Chief Engineer looking to step up, or an established Director of Engineering seeking a new challenge within a prestigious, high performance environment.

The Role Director of Engineering Core responsibilities include:
Managing Engineering Operations and Budgets, Maintaining Safety and Compliance Standards, Asset Protection and Preventive Maintenance, Leading Teams and Contractors, Delivering Capital and Renovation Projects Overseeing a team of Engineers and external contractors

The Person Chief Engineer or Engineering Director with experience in the hotel or large scale hospitality sector Strong technical knowledge of plant equipment, building operations, and life safety systems Holds relevant qualifications such as IOSH, Legionella and statutory compliance certifications Experience managing refurbishment or upgrade projects Commercially aware with strong leadership and communication skills Reference Number: 265987
