Lead Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead Engineer to take ownership of all electrical building services across a large, complex healthcare estate in West London. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who thrives in a highly technical, compliance-driven environment and enjoys leading a small team to deliver exceptional service within a critical setting.

• Lead day-to-day electrical maintenance, fault-finding and repairs across the site, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations.

• Oversee a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring and daily task allocation.

• Manage PPM schedules, reactive works and statutory compliance activities for all electrical systems.

• Ensure all works comply with HTMs, electrical safety regulations and internal procedures.

• Support projects, upgrades and lifecycle replacements of electrical assets.

• Liaise with clinical users, contractors and management to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and asset records.

• Participate in on-call rota to support critical services.

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship and relevant Level 3/Level 4 electrical qualifications.

• 18th Edition certification (essential).

• Strong experience working in hospital or healthcare environments-understanding of HTMs and critical systems is essential.

• Proven people leadership or supervisory experience.

• Excellent knowledge of LV systems, emergency lighting, standby power and control systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in a live, high-pressure environment.

• Good communication skills and a positive, proactive approach.
