Role Overview

My client is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their growing team. This role involves commissioning cutting-edge BMS (Building Management Systems) projects across the Southeast and London, ensuring installations meet design specifications and perform to the highest standards. Ideal candidates will be certified and experienced in Trend, Tridium, Schneider, or similar systems.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out comprehensive commissioning of BMS systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security integrations.
Validate the performance and functionality of all BMS components in line with project requirements.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve any issues during the commissioning process.

Configure, program, and test systems using platforms such as Trend, Tridium, or Schneider.
Support site installation teams and subcontractors with technical guidance.
Work closely with project teams to ensure smooth integration with wider building services.

Produce and maintain all relevant commissioning documentation: test reports, checklists, as-built drawings, etc.
Regularly report progress, issues, and resolutions to the Project and Commissioning Managers.
Ensure documentation accurately reflects completed works.

Apply quality assurance practices throughout the commissioning process.
Perform final system inspections and sign-offs.
Ensure all safety protocols are rigorously followed during on-site work.
Experience Needed

Strong background in commissioning BMS systems, with hands-on experience in Trend, Tridium, Schneider, or Siemens platforms.
Solid understanding of BMS and building services integration.

Advanced technical knowledge of BMS hardware and software.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex system issues.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Clear and professional communication skills.
Competent with commissioning tools and software.

Valid certifications in Trend, Tridium, Delta, or Schneider systems.
BCIA 01, 02 & 03 minimum required.
Electrical safety awareness certification.
Additional BMS-related certifications are advantageous.
