Water Hygiene Technician Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Water Hygiene Technician to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities- Travel to customer sites to ensure water systems meet safety and compliance standards.
- Inspect and clean water storage vessels, including leading tank chlorinations.
- Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).
- Conduct routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2, including flushing outlets, temperature monitoring, descaling shower heads, and flushing pressure vessels.
- Perform sampling for closed water systems.
- Use the SimPRO system to manage your workload efficiently.
- Identify potential issues and proactively provide solutions.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of HSE's ACoP L8 and HSG
274 to uphold our professional and compliant reputation.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
- City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, equivalent qualifications, or relevant industry experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance and professionalism.
- Visiting different customer sites to carry out inspections and maintenance.
- Ensuring water systems are safe and compliant through routine monitoring and cleaning tasks.
