Our team combines expertise in traditional finance, quantitative research, and advanced engineering with a deep understanding of blockchain technology. We are a technology-driven quantitative trading firm specializing in high-frequency and low-latency strategies across digital asset markets. Our culture is highly quantitative, deeply technical, and intensely focused on cutting-edge research and execution optimization, dominating the crypto high-frequency trading landscape.
We are at a pivotal inflection point. Currently operating under a multi-pod model, we are strategically transitioning into a unified "One Firm" model. Hence, we are seeking a hands‑on Head of Trading to serve as the Chief Architect of this transformation. You will not just "manage" a book; you will rebuild our research methodology from the ground up, unify our alpha libraries, and lead our expansion from Crypto into Traditional Finance.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong technical background, proven P&L track record in high-frequency environments (ideally crypto or top‑tier traditional HFT/Quant firms), and the ability to drive both strategic research and flawless execution.
- Unify the Research Stack:
Lead the transition from siloed team structures to a unified quantitative research platform. Architect a shared alpha repository where HFT, Stat Arb, and CTA strategies leverage common signals and data ingestion pipelines. - Standardize Success:
Define the company-wide standards for backtesting, simulation accuracy, and signal efficacy. Eliminate "black box" cultures and foster an open, collaborative research environment. - Alpha Generation:
Lead from the front by developing and deploying high‑sharpe HFT/MFT strategies. Directly manage the firm’s core liquidity provision and arbitrage books. - Execution Edge:
Partner with the core engineering team to optimize the full tick‑to‑trade loop, specifically tackling the unique microstructure challenges of crypto exchanges (latency jitter, MEV protection, API rate limits). - Team Leadership:
You have full autonomy to assess the existing trading teams. Recruit elite talent from top‑tier firms and execute performance‑based restructuring to build a "Special Forces" unit. - Cross‑Asset
Roadmap:
Solidify our dominance in crypto (CEX & DeFi) while laying the technical and regulatory groundwork to expand into Traditional Finance.
- Elite Pedigree:
Proven performance at a top‑tier HFT or Quantitative firm. Experience in a "Unified Platform" model is highly preferred over a pure "Pod Shop" background. - Technical Mastery:
Strong proficiency in C++ and Python. You must be capable of writing production‑level code and challenging Engineering on architecture decisions. - Track Record:
Proven history of managing significant P&L with high Sharpe ratios in high‑frequency or mid‑frequency strategies. - Crypto + Trad Fi Hybrid:
While deep crypto microstructure knowledge is ideal, we value rigorous traditional HFT methodology above all. We are open to candidates from Trad Fi who can adapt their rigorous frameworks to Crypto. - Leadership DNA:
