Private Client Tax Manager

Position: Private Client Tax Manager (Permanent)
My client is a respected Top 30 professional services firm with a specialist private client tax team advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and their structures on complex tax and wealth matters. The team focuses on providing bespoke advice around personal and family assets, helping clients minimise liabilities and navigate key financial decisions.

They are now seeking a qualified Private Client Tax Manager to manage a portfolio of clients, oversee compliance and advisory work, support junior team members, and contribute to business development. You will collaborate with other departments across the firm to deliver joined-up client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of private clients and review all related tax work

• Provide personal tax advisory and compliance support

• Mentor junior staff and provide feedback and oversight

• Identify tax planning opportunities and coordinate with other internal teams

• Support client relationship development and contribute to business growth

What You'll Need:

• ATT, CTA, ACA or equivalent qualification

• Experience in preparing and reviewing UK personal tax returns

• Strong understanding of tax matters affecting private clients

• Confidence reviewing others’ work and supporting junior team members

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
