Our client, a leading asset manager, is looking to recruit a Trader to join the trading desk in London.

This individual will step into a trading environment that works closely with Portfolio Managers to provide significant input on market sentiment and trade execution.

Key responsibilities:

Execute trades across equity markets

Assess ongoing market information that creates investment opportunities and communicate relevant insight to Portfolio Managers

Analyse data and cost analytics to improve trade execution across asset classes

Monitor market activity to ensure best execution at all times

Develop and maintain good working relationships with brokers and counter parties, ensuring good trade execution

Experience &

Skills required:

3-6 years’ trading experience at a buy-side or sell-side institution

Trading experience in equity markets

Excellent quantitative skills, preferably with some coding experience

Good team player who is able to work within a highly collaborative working environment

Confident and articulate with the ability to thrive under pressure
